These use the Stock Valve shims.

*Set of 6 buckets are required for exhaust side while using antilag or 2 step launch control.

*Set of 12 buckets recommended for boost levels of 12-17psi using stock springs

Caution Read carefully before installation

• Buckets are made from Chromoly 4140 Nitrided for hardness and low coefficient for friction.
• Hardness: 650-850 Vickers (equivalent to 58-65HRC. They cannot be measured in HRC due to the thin nitrided layer).
• The lifters are carefully designed using sophisticated CAD software for the best compromise between strength and weight.
• Cam material compatibility: Cast iron cams. Steel cams can be used only if they are coated with stellite or DLC. If not you need to DLC coat the cam followers. Billet steel camshafts may be compatible BUT need to be DLC coated to get a compatible coefficient of friction.
• Make sure the cam surface is parallel to the surface of the cam follower in order to get enough contact surface for maximum load distribution. if contact stress is too high, the oil film will break increasing friction and possible damage to the follower or cam.
• Make sure the cams don't run (even partially) off the edge of the follower. If this happens it is necessary to modify the cam profile or use a follower of bigger diameter.
• Use assembly lube during assembly of the engine.
• Good quality racing oil is highly recommended for lower friction and better oil film strength. it is highly recommended to break them in using a break-in oil with ZDDP at aprox 2,500rpms for 20min.
• Failure to do this may result in cam follower damage.
